Forthcoming Events

28 November 2009 Annual General Meeting.
The AGM will take place at 18:00 on the farm “Mooiplaas“ of Kosie Lamprecht in Blanco. See attached notice for directions. The meeting will be followed by a potjiekos. Please bring own drinks and utensils. This is a very important meeting where a new committee and Chairman is to be voted in. See attached notice for details.

01 January 2010 New Year’s Breakfast.
We will again have a breakfast on the farm of Pierre Fourie in Waboomskraal. Please bring your own basket with breakfast. Hot plates and champagne will be provided. Depart at 08:00 from the Engen garage opposite the Virgin Active Gym. Bring own goodies.

13 and 14 February 2010 – George Old Car Show
It’s almost time to start polishing those oldies for the 2010 show. This year the focus will be on old tractors and stationary engines. We are still desperately looking for helpers. Please contact Chris van Staden (082 491 5254) or Mike Alexander (082 495 4780) if you are willing to help.


There will be no events in December. On behalf of the committee I wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a prosperous new year. Let us start the new year with new commitment.
Jan Wright and I wish to thank all for the SMS’s, phone calls and visits during recovery following our respective hospitalisations. The good wishes were sincerely appreciated.
