28 February 2009 – Lead Repair to bodywork Demonstration: This will be in Gouritzmond, presented by Bernard Meyer. Demo starts at 14:30. Depart at 10:00 from Game York Str. For those interested, overnight accommodation is available by arrangement with Sanet Nieuwoud on tel: 082 355 5675 or 028 745 3030. Self catering units are available sleeping 6 @ ±R275.00 p/n or 8 @ ± R 360.00 p/n for the unit.

21 March 2009 – CALTEX economy run: Sponsored by CALTEX a route of ± 170 km from George via Saasveld, Wildernis, back through George, via Blanco, to the R102 to Mosselbay and Danabaai. Return via Grootbrakrivier via Glentana and the N2 to Fourways Caltex for refuelling, en prizegiving. Entrants will receive a CALTEX gift pack. SCOCC will sponsor the entry fee as donation to a charity. Attached is entry form.
TO QUALIFY :
• Entries to reach the club before 20 February 2009 Please contact Pierre Olivier on 082 872 6456, or Phillip Rosser, on 082 410 5490 if you wish to enter.
• Cars must be 40 years or older.
• Cars to fill up prior to start at own expense at Fourway Caltex .
• Start time 09:00.

If this is supported well it could become an annual event.
